While Mon Petite makes all kinds of dessert, they are known for their tall cakes. Tall, elaborate, swanky, maximalist cakes. And while they are glorious to look at and absolutely scrumptious to eat - they can be very difficult to transport. Our challenge was to create structural packaging that would keep the cake in tact as it travelled from one place to another and be easy to open without damaging said cake. Also, tall cakes come in taller boxes - which can also be a problem for bulk storage on the client's end. Our solution was a box that comes in three sections that are easy to take apart and store when not in use. Moreover, everything about these cakes is customised - colour, design, toppers and all. So, the boxes also come in four different sizes. Depending on the size of the cake, the most appropriate box can be chosen.

DESSERT BOXES

Developed nearly a year after the cake boxes, Mon Petite's dessert boxes are in keeping with the clean, minimal look we had established for the brand's packaging. The highlight is meant to be the colourful and delectable berliners, tarts, eclairs, brookies and other goodies you see inside the box. The rest of it gives you relevant details and a few dessert puns, because we couldn't help ourselves!

PACKAGING INSERTS & EXTENSIONS

When designing packaging for perishable goods, it is important that the instructions are clear and prominent. All of Mon Petite's packaging comes with labels or tags to add product specifications, packaging date and storage instructions. We added smaller touches like customisable greeting tags and illustrated handling directions to enhance the personalised and celebratory experience offered by the brand.
