Avam Essentials is a beauty and skincare brand focusing on bridging the gap between skincare and makeup. Split into three ranges, we worked on modifying their brand, and building their overall visual identity.

The range we focus on here contains Rollers, Gua Shas, Ice Globes and Serums. Amidst a market full of illustrated packaging, our aim was to evoke more than one sense at the outer-most layer.

De-puff, Detox, De-stress.

One of the recurring aspects of the Avam Pre-makeup range were the stones used for each product. Each stone made a range in itself with these two products: Gua Sha & Roller.

Stones are very tactile materials. Our challenge for the stones was showing this tactility in a visual sense. The texture for each range was customised, tested, iterated on numerous times, until we landed on the ones that felt just right.

Our idea behind the textures? Once you look at them, your senses should tell you automatically which stone it feels like, without having to touch them.
